In a limited edition collection dropping in stores mid-July, Rodebjer translates Swedish artist's Carl Larsson's iconic watercolor paintings into wearable prints.

The collection was photographed in the hand-embellished, colorful and eclectic home of Carl and Karin Larsson, in Sundborn, Dalarna. Their home and garden evolved into an elaborate - remarkably ahead of its time - meta-art project coming to influence Swedish aesthetic ideals since the 19th century.

Carl's watercolor depictions of their family life - detailed, intimate - paired with Karin's liberated approach for interior design, has become almost synonymous with our picture of Sweden. Lilla Hyttnäs, as the couple named their home, became Carl och Karin's mutual art project - where their artistic talents merged in modern, personal expressions of architecture, color, and interiors.

Rodebjer has translated Carl Larsson's paintings through mirrored print applications and repeated motifs, translating them into all-over prints on silk blends and lightweight nylon.
